we always expect a feeding or two along the way.
Milk & diaper bag - that’s it! We always do a feeding or two at some point.
By aiming for pictures at 5-12 days, we are really setting ourselves up for success. We should keep the room warm, baby fed & cozy at all times. I use a white noise machine and follow baby’s cues at all times. If need be we can find another day.
Yes! I wash my hands and studio thoroughly before and during sessions. All swaddles and fabrics are washed in a newborn safe detergent between each use.
Honest answer? Chances are it is not going to fit well or photograph nicely. If it was made for newborn photography from etsy then there is a chance. If it’s a themed or knitted outfit from amazon- not a chance. I don’t want to waste your time with me by photographing something that I can’t make beautiful or special. My outfits, swaddles, headbands and props are all professionally crafted with photography in mind. I highly encourage sticking to just these.
